Andy Brown Memorial Rough Rider Fishing Tournament and Family Picnic

The Andy Brown Memorial Rough Rider Fishing Tournament and Family Picnic was started 12 years ago as an event to bring the Rough Rider families together for fun and frolic. The event has grown dramatically over the years. With the success of the event, several years ago we started using the event as one of the organization's premier fund raisers for the Rough Rider's charities. The Rough Riders give thousands of dollars and thousands of volunteer hours to many charitable organizations and events throughout the region.

The committee which puts this event on each year is fully volunteer based and is inspired by the memory of Andy Brown. Andy was one of the event's early members who worked to bring his joy of fishing to the full membership; where the families come together for a weekend full of comradery, friendships, and family fun. In honor of a beloved friend, the event was renamed the Andy Brown Memorial Rough Riders Fishing Tournament and Family Picnic. Andy Brown will always be remembered for his love of fishing, having a good time, and putting a smile on his face for everyone. Those of us who were fortunate to have been considered his friend are truly blessed.
